Born "ROBERT NESTA BOB MARLEY" IN (1945), he passed away (MAY 11 1981) in "MIAMI" (Florida). He then used his short time on earth to be a real leader, a humble servant to the people of every nation by spreading out inspirational music and talking points, through his lyrics! He was also a freedom fighter and revolutionary with music, his daily sword!
Being to some extent a confort to the oppressed and frustrated people all over the world, he found out that there was a lot of work to do on earth, but he also knew that he would return to his creator, the almighty.
Definitely, "ROBERT NEWSTA BOB MARLEY" was one of the most influential figure of the
20th century, a troubadour and messenger from the ghetto who transformed roots music into a universal art. Basically, he was the first real super star of the third world. Visionary he was, he forsaw as a prophecy this in his own creation:"
"One bright morning when my work is over, I will fly away home"(MOUNT ZION)...
Down the line, death met him in "Miami"- Florida-Usa in (MAY 11TH 1981) AT THE AGE OF 36 YEARS!
